A very rare early stater from Tarsos

CILICIA. Tarsos. Circa 425-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 10.43 g, 11 h). Horseman (satrap, or Cilician King) riding left. Rev. Archer in kneeling-running stance right, drawing bow; behind to left, symbol; all within rectangular incuse. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris 213 var. (head of an eagle below the horseman). Very rare. Minor old scratches and struck from a worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.

This type with the reverse symbol instead of the ethnic is probably the earliest stater of Tarsos and very rare
